Bandstand is an independent production company specialising in comedy and drama, run by Tom Hollander and Hannah Pescod.

Tom and Hannah first worked together on Big Talk’s award-winning BBC2 series Rev.  As well as playing the titular priest struggling to run his ailing Hackney church, Tom co-created and wrote on the series, and was Executive Producer.  Hannah produced the first two series, and was Executive Producer on the third.

Rev won a BAFTA for best sitcom, a British Comedy Award, four Broadcasting Press Guild Awards and a South Bank Sky Arts Award, and was nominated for Royal Television Society and Broadcast awards.  Tom and Olivia Colman were both BAFTA nominated several times for their performances in the programme.

We keep our development slate deliberately lean, so that we can devote the individual attention each project requires to flourish.  We develop ideas we’re truly passionate about, and take a collaborative approach, supporting our writers in whatever way they need to realise their vision for a project. 

Bandstand is currently co-producing Us with Drama Republic - David Nicholls’ tragicomic 4 part adaptation of his book for BBC1.
